1. Controller

Plainleaf Publishing is a brand of ADSPIRE GmbH. The controller responsible for processing your personal data on this website is:

ADSPIRE GmbH
Im RhyTech 3
8212 Neuhausen am Rheinfall
Switzerland

We have not appointed a data protection officer, as there is no legal obligation to do so. For all questions about data protection, you can reach us through our contact form.

2. Applicable law

We are a company based in Switzerland. Our data processing is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP, DSG). Insofar as this website is also directed at people in the EU, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies in addition. The legal bases mentioned in this policy refer to the GDPR; in Germany, access to your device is governed by § 25 of the Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG).

3. Hosting and server log files

Our website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. Vercel delivers the website through a global server network and processes the data on our behalf.

Each time our website is accessed, the following data is automatically processed in server log files:

  • IP address
  • date and time of access
  • page or file requested
  • referrer (the previously visited page, if transmitted by the browser)
  • browser type, browser version and operating system (user agent)
  • HTTP status code and amount of data transferred

Purpose: delivering the website, ensuring stability and security, defending against attacks and analyzing errors.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to provide the website securely and without disruption and to be able to detect and fix attacks and errors. Access to your device is technically required to transmit the website (§ 25(2) no. 1 TDDDG).

Retention: Log files are deleted after 30 days at the latest. They are kept longer only if a specific security incident has to be investigated, and only until it is resolved.

Data processing agreement: We have a data processing agreement with Vercel (Data Processing Addendum).

Third country: Vercel is based in the USA and is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. In addition, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses apply, which are part of the Vercel Data Processing Addendum. See section 9 for details.

4. Fonts and images

We embed all fonts and images locally from our own server. No connection is made to servers of Google or other providers.

5. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking

This website does not set cookies and does not store anything on your device. We do not use analytics tools, tracking pixels (including the Meta Pixel) or embedded third-party content such as videos or maps. The source code of the pages may contain a verification code with which we prove to Meta that we own this domain. This code is plain text in the page and does not trigger any data transfer to Meta.

6. Contact via contact form or email

If you write to us through the contact form or by email, we process your details (name, if provided, email address and the content of your message) in order to answer your inquiry.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your inquiry relates to a contract or steps prior to entering into one; otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering inquiries).

Contact form: When you submit the form, your input is forwarded as an email to our mailbox through a server function of our host Vercel (see section 3). The website does not store it in a database. We need your email address to reply to you; your name is optional.

Email provider: cyon AG, Brunngässlein 12, 4052 Basel, Switzerland, as processor. Our emails and the messages from the contact form are received, stored and sent through its servers.

7. Links to the websites of the works

This website links to the websites of the works in the catalog, for example klarordner.vercel.app or shipshapesheets.vercel.app. Only when you click such a link does your browser open the other website; no data is transferred to it beforehand. Those websites have their own privacy policies. A work is purchased there through Digistore24 GmbH, which is independently responsible for that.

8. Recipients

We only share personal data with the following recipients:

  • Vercel Inc., USA: hosting and forwarding of the contact form (processor)
  • cyon AG, Switzerland: email communication (processor)
  • Authorities and courts: only where we are legally obliged to do so
